Training & Development
Induction Training
As a first step, new staff are given the opportunity to spend a day on a Village, and experience the facilities as a guest. They also take part in an induction and guest care course. This is designed to be fun as well as helping new staff to become knowledgeable about the different aspects of the resort and the needs of our guests.
A variety of career development opportunities
To create opportunities for staff to fulfill their potential, we run an annual personal development scheme, called the “Manager In Training” programme. If you have the necessary ambition and aptitude, this programme provides clear routes for career progression. The programme includes a variety of courses as well as on-the-job training.
Successful applicants for the programme will undergo an assessment day to evaluate personal skills and attributes, and match these to the wide variety of opportunities and roles within the Center Parcs villages. You will then be able to select the division in which you would like your training to be focused (e.g. housekeeping or leisure).
If you prefer a role outside management, there are still plenty of opportunities for a varied and rewarding career within Center Parcs. Some team members become departmental trainers or first aiders; others move between jobs and departments, and some chose to move between villages to broaden their experience and enjoy the variety of Center Parcs' working environments.
